Description

Maarc Calx Calcium Hydroxide Paste With Barium Sulphate is a premixed, high pH, water-based calcium hydroxide paste formulated with a stabilizer for effective endodontic applications. Designed for use as a root canal dressing, temporary root canal filling, pulp capping, and pulpotomy material, it provides excellent therapeutic benefits during endodontic procedures. The non-setting, water-based formulation ensures easy handling and allows direct application at the intended site. Its excellent radiopacity, enhanced by the presence of barium sulphate, enables clear radiographic verification. Supplied in a syringe, the paste is ready to use and can be delivered directly into the canal with precision and minimal waste. Its ideal consistency and biocompatibility make it suitable for temporary filling during pulpectomy and intracanal medicament use. To maintain its quality, the product should be stored between 10°C and 30°C, with the cap closed immediately after use, ensuring a shelf life of up to 24 months under proper storage conditions.

Directions for Use

• Prepare and clean the root canal thoroughly as per standard endodontic protocol.

• Dry the canal using paper points to remove moisture.

• Attach the supplied syringe tip to the syringe containing the paste.

• Insert the tip gently into the canal and dispense the required amount of paste directly.

• Fill the canal adequately and ensure the paste reaches the intended site.

• Remove any excess material from the coronal area using a cotton pellet or suitable instrument.

• Seal the access cavity with a temporary restorative material.

• After use, close the syringe cap tightly to avoid contamination and drying of the paste.

• Store the product properly after each use at recommended temperatures (10°C–30°C).
