Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure the surgical site is clean and sterile. Open the suture packaging using aseptic techniques
• Thread the Needle: If not pre-threaded, carefully thread the suture through the needle’s eye, ensuring it is securely seated
• Insert the Needle: Insert the needle into the tissue at the desired entry point, using a smooth, gentle motion to minimize trauma. For deep sutures, place them under the layers of tissue below the skin
• Pass the Suture: Pass the suture through the tissue, maintaining tension to ensure a secure closure. Use techniques like interrupted or continuous sutures depending on the wound type
• Tie the Knot: Use a secure knotting technique to tie down the suture. The braided structure of the suture allows for good knotting properties. For buried sutures, ensure the knot is placed under the skin surface
• Cut Excess Suture: Trim the excess suture material close to the knot to prevent irritation
• Post-Operative Care: Monitor the wound for healing and ensure proper wound care to prevent infection. Since these sutures are absorbable, they will degrade over time, eliminating the need for removal
