Apex Locator Probe Cord for Root Zx Mini & Zx II Apex Locator. Probe Cord for Root ZX Mini Apex Locator snaps easily into the side of the apex locator. File holder’s gray male plug is inserted into the gray female connector on the probe cord. Contrary electrode is inserted into the white female connector on the probe cord.
Probe Cord wire is an accessory for an Apex Locator. It is the main cable which is attached to Main Unit Apex Locator. Other two end of the testing cable gets attached to Lip Hook and File Holder Clip.

Directions for Use
- Insert the probe cable connector all the way into the female connector on the Side of the Root ZX mini.
- Insert the grey male connector into the grey female connector of the probe cable.
- Insert the counter electrode into the white female connector on the probe cable.
- Make sure that the probe cable connector is securely connected to the female connector. If it is connected incorrectly, measurements may not be possible.
- Do not drop anything on the probe cable connector or knock it once it is inserted into the socket connector.
- Make sure to connect the colours of the probe cable to the corresponding colours of the probe cable.
- When connecting and disconnecting cables, always grasp the connectors.
- Do not wrap the probe cable around the body of the main unit.
- Do not wipe the surface of the probe cable with a cloth soaked in any alcohol except disinfectant ethyl alcohol (80%). Any other type of solution may cause cracking, clouding, discolouration or similar damage.
