Matrix:

Directions for Use

Cavity Preparation

• Prepare the cavity conservatively according to adhesive dentistry principles.

• Ensure proper isolation with a rubber dam to maintain a dry field.

Etching & Bonding

• Etch enamel and dentin with a suitable etchant.

• Rinse and gently air-dry. Avoid desiccation.

• Apply the recommended Ivoclar adhesive system and light-cure as per manufacturer’s instructions.

Composite Placement

• Dispense the composite directly from the 3g syringe.

• Apply in increments (≤2 mm) to ensure complete light penetration.

• Use the translucent shades (Trans 20, Trans 30, Trans Opal) for incisal layering or to reproduce natural translucency.

Shaping & Contouring

• Sculpt each layer using appropriate composite instruments or brushes.

• Reproduce natural anatomical form and desired esthetic effect.

Light Curing

• Cure each increment for 20–40 seconds with a suitable LED curing light (400–500 nm).

• Ensure curing from multiple angles for posterior restorations.

Finishing & Polishing

• Adjust occlusion and contour with fine finishing burs.

• Polish using polishing discs, strips, or rubber points to achieve high gloss and natural esthetics.
