Directions for Use

Power On: 

• Switch on the device to activate the dual UV and white LED light sources

Preparation:

• Ensure the area to be examined (teeth or oral cavity) is clean and dry for accurate detection

Illumination: 

• Hold the device close to the tooth surface or area of interest, illuminating it with the UV light (wavelength around 395-400 nm) combined with white LED light

Observation:

• Look for fluorescence patterns that indicate presence of caries, bacterial by-products, cracks, white spot lesions, biofilm, plaque, or composite material differences

Differentiation:

• Use the device to distinguish between natural tooth structure and composite restorations by observing color contrasts under UV light
