  2. Mix the Powder and Liquid:

    • Measure the powder-to-liquid ratio as 3:1 for optimal consistency.
    • Mix the components within 45 seconds to prevent premature setting.
    • Use the Agate spatula to mix the materials over a large area, applying consistent pressure and smooth strokes for uniform blending.
  3. Isolate the Cavity:

    • Ensure the cavity is properly isolated using a rubber dam or other isolation techniques to avoid contamination.
  4. Apply the Calcium Hydroxide Liner:

    • Use a small applicator or spatula to carefully place the calcium hydroxide liner into the cavity.
    • Cover the deepest areas to protect the pulp and promote secondary dentin formation.
  5. Condition the Cavity Wall:

    • Use a mild conditioner to prepare the cavity wall, ensuring proper adhesion for the glass ionomer cement (GIC).
  6. Bulk Fill Glass Ionomer Cement (GIC):

    • Insert the GIC material in bulk using an applicator.
    • Shape and contour the material as required before initial setting.
