Directions for Use

• Select the appropriate instrument from the kit based on the patient’s needs and the location of the teeth.
• Hold the instrument like a pen or pencil with your dominant hand and rest your other hand on the patient’s face for stability.
• Place the tip of the instrument on the tooth surface at a 45-degree angle to the tooth and below the gum line.
• Use short, gentle back-and-forth or circular motions to remove plaque and calculus buildup from the root surface.
• Work your way around the tooth, using the appropriate side of the instrument to access different surfaces and angles.
• Rinse the tooth and instrument frequently to remove debris and prevent buildup.
• Repeat the process for all teeth that require scaling and root planing.
• Provide post-treatment instructions and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
