Frank Dental flat-end straight fissure coarse grit diamond burs (made in germany) are manufactured from the highest quality steel shanks using exquisite natural diamonds to match international specifications. This advanced manufacturing, using computer controlled precision engineering, ensures true concentricity and balance, minimising vibration and potential damage to handpiece bearings and at the same time improving cutting efficiency and product longevity.

Different grain sizes allow the targeted removal of specific volumes and maximum conservation of tooth substance. The burs are available in various sizes.

Directions for Use

• Sterilization: Ensure the bur is thoroughly cleaned and sterilized via autoclaving before clinical use, following standard infection control protocols.
• Handpiece Insertion: Insert the FG (Friction Grip) shank securely into a compatible high-speed handpiece. Confirm that the bur is properly seated and rotates concentrically.
• Clinical Application: Use the bur for reduction, cavity preparation, and shaping procedures, especially where aggressive cutting of enamel or restorative materials is required.
• Cutting Technique: Apply light, intermittent pressure to allow the coarse diamond particles to cut efficiently without excessive force. Maintain water spray throughout use to prevent heat buildup and enhance cutting performance.
• Visibility Maintenance: Rinse and air-dry the area periodically to maintain visibility and prevent clogging of the cutting surface.
• Post-Use Handling: After the procedure, remove the bur carefully from the handpiece, rinse off debris, disinfect, and sterilize before the next use.
• Storage: Store in a clean, dry bur block or sterilized container to maintain sharpness and avoid contamination.
