The retentive grooved surface offers strong adhesive bonding with zirconia, lithium disilicate, or PMMA superstructures. Directions for Use

Preparation

• Confirm the case is restored on a Straumann BLX implant with Regular Base connection
• Inspect the Ti-Base for any visible damage, surface contamination, or machining irregularities
• Sterilize the Ti-Base via autoclave before clinical or laboratory use

Placement

• Align the Ti-Base with the BLX RB implant connection
• Seat the Ti-Base fully ensuring complete and passive engagement on the implant platform
• Hand-tighten the prosthetic screw through the Ti-Base into the implant
• Verify accurate fit radiographically before progressing to scanning or impression steps

Operation

• Attach the matching scan body to the Ti-Base for digital impression and CAD design
• Design and mill the zirconia, lithium disilicate, or PMMA crown based on the digital scan data
• Sandblast the bonding surface of the Ti-Base lightly to enhance cement retention
• Apply adhesive primer and resin cement to bond the milled crown to the Ti-Base
• Remove excess cement carefully and finish the crown margins as required

Post Use Care

• Final torque the prosthetic screw to the Straumann implant
• Seal the screw access channel with PTFE tape and composite restorative material
• Verify occlusion and check passive fit of the final restoration
• Schedule periodic recall to inspect prosthesis stability and screw tightness
