Obtura Pen: The Obtura Pen is the core of the SY-Fill System, offering a highly ergonomic and user-friendly experience to dental professionals. It incorporates advanced temperature control settings, enabling practitioners to select and maintain precise temperature levels for the Gutta-Percha material. This temperature control ensures uniform heating of the material, guaranteeing a consistent and effective seal. The obturation gun’s trigger mechanism allows for the controlled extrusion of Gutta-Percha, significantly reducing the risk of overflow. This precision in filling root canals enhances the quality and long-term success of endodontic treatments.

Obturation Gun: The Obturation Gun is a specialized instrument designed for the controlled and precise delivery of Gutta-Percha. Its stainless steel plunger, which can be reused multiple times, helps prevent material overflow, ensuring precise treatment. The temperature control feature empowers dental professionals to select the ideal temperature setting, typically ranging from 160°C to 230°C, for consistent material flow. Additionally, its design incorporates a 360° rotatable needle for precise positioning during procedures, and a display window to monitor the current temperature setting.

Directions for Use

Prepare the Environment:

• Ensure the dental operatory is set up with all necessary equipment.
• Sterilize the Obtura Pro system components, including the obturation gun and tips, and prepare the Gutta-Percha material.

Patient Preparation:

• Ensure the patient is comfortably seated and ready for the procedure.
• Administer local anesthesia and isolate the tooth being treated with a rubber dam.

Select the Temperature:

• Set the Obtura Pro system to the appropriate temperature based on the Gutta-Percha material being used (usually between 160°C to 230°C).

Load the Obturation Gun:

• Insert a Gutta-Percha pellet into the heating chamber of the obturation gun.

Position the Needle:

• Rotate the needle to the desired angle to facilitate precise placement within the root canal.

Extrude Gutta-Percha:

• Gradually squeeze the trigger to extrude the heated Gutta-Percha into the root canal. Proceed in a controlled manner, filling the canal incrementally as you withdraw the needle.

Verify the Seal:

• Use radiographs (X-rays) to verify that the root canal has been effectively sealed. Make any necessary adjustments if there are gaps.

Complete the Procedure:

• Once the root canal is satisfactorily filled, complete the remaining steps of the root canal procedure, such as coronal seal placement and restoration.

Clean and Sterilize:

• Properly clean and sterilize all components of the Obtura Pro system after use to maintain hygiene.

• Manufacturer/Importer warranty of 12 months and batteries and adapter are 6 months as applicable for this product.
• Service and Warranty are handled by the manufacturer/importer directly for this product
• Dentalkart will not be liable to replace the Products and the liability to replace any such Product is that of the Manufacturer/Importer
• Dentalkart and the Buyer acknowledge that the Products purchased/used a subject matter of original Manufacturer/Importer’s warranties only
• Any or all claims in relation to returns and replacement shall be made to the concerned Manufacturer/Importer only and Dentalkart may assist the customer in registering a request to get the Product replaced or serviced.
