Directions for Use

Prepare the Device:

• Insert 2 “AAA” style batteries into the designated compartment.
• Choose the appropriate autoclavable light guide (2mm or 3mm) for the procedure.

Power On/Off:

• Slide the power switch to turn on the transilluminator.
• To power off, simply slide the switch back to the off position.

Positioning and Illumination:

• Place the light guide in proximity to the area of interest.
• Adjust the position until optimal illumination is achieved.

Diagnostic Procedures:

• For caries detection, direct the light onto anterior and posterior surfaces.
• To visualize crown fractures or root canal orifices, adjust the angle as needed.
• Use in oral cancer screening by systematically examining the oral cavity.

Autoclaving:

• If necessary, detach the light guide for autoclaving following manufacturer guidelines.
