Directions for Use

• Attach to Handpiece: Securely connect the ED2 scaler tip to your DTE or Satelec ultrasonic scaler handpiece by twisting it into place.
• Insert Ultrasonic File: Select a 0.7mm or 0.8mm ultrasonic file for the ED2 scaler tip.
• Connect the File Using a Wrench: Place the file inside the 90° holder of the scaler tip. Use the provided wrench to carefully tighten and secure the ultrasonic file into the tip. Ensure it is fastened securely to avoid any movement during the procedure.
• Adjust Power Settings: Adjust the ultrasonic scaler to the appropriate power setting for effective root canal treatment.
• Position in Root Canal: Gently insert the tip with the secured file into the root canal of molar teeth, guiding it carefully to the required depth.
• Irrigation & Cleaning: Activate the scaler to start ultrasonic vibrations, cleaning and irrigating the canal effectively.
• Maintain Continuous Irrigation: Ensure steady irrigation during the procedure to prevent overheating and improve cleaning efficiency.
• Remove and Sterilize: After use, disconnect the file using the wrench, clean, and sterilize both the ED2 tip and the file for future use.
