Directions for Use

• Connect the Tip: Attach the GD3 tip to the scaler handpiece by screwing it in securely using the wrench provided, ensuring a tight connection
• Set Power Level: Adjust the ultrasonic scaler to a moderate power setting for supragingival scaling and cleaning in interproximal and sulcus areas
• Positioning: Place the flat side of the GD3 tip gently against the tooth surface where deposits are located
• Motion: Move the scaler tip in small, controlled sweeping motions. For interproximal areas, angle the tip slightly for better access
• Rinse Frequently: Use water irrigation to cool the tip and flush out dislodged deposits
• Avoid Excessive Pressure: Let the ultrasonic vibrations do the work; do not apply too much pressure, which could damage the enamel or gum tissue
• Finishing: After completing the procedure, rinse the patient’s mouth and inspect for any remaining deposits. Sterilize the tip following standard protocols after each use to ensure hygiene and longevity
