Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Securely attach the E2 scaler tip to a compatible ultrasonic scaler (UDS or EMS)

Initial Settings:

• Adjust the ultrasonic scaler to a low-power setting to ensure patient comfort before increasing as needed

Patient Positioning:

• Position the patient comfortably to provide optimal access to the molar teeth

Water Flow:

• Set the water flow to ensure adequate cooling of the scaler tip during use, typically around 20 ml/min

Application Technique:

• Gently insert the scaler tip into the molar root canal. Use a light, sweeping motion to clean and irrigate the canal system thoroughly. Focus on removing debris and ensuring effective irrigation

Safety:

• Use only the provided flat wrench to tighten the file holders on the handpiece, and gently tighten the files or instruments in the holder. Avoid over-tightening, and do not tighten the holder nut when no file or instrument is installed to prevent damage

• After each use, rinse the scaler tip to remove any debris and prevent blockages

Post-Use Care:

• Clean and sterilize the scaler tip according to standard protocols to ensure it is ready for the next use
