Directions for Use

Setup

• Connect the handpiece to a compatible implant motor using the E-type coupler
• Attach the external irrigation tubing securely to the irrigation port
• Verify the LED illumination and fiber optic transmission are functioning correctly
• Set the implant motor to the recommended speed for the planned drilling step

Bur Insertion

• Press the push button on the head of the handpiece to release the chuck
• Insert the appropriate contra-angle implant drill fully into the chuck
• Release the button to lock the drill securely in place
• Gently pull the drill to confirm it is securely engaged before clinical use

Surgical Operation

• Position the handpiece at the planned osteotomy site with the drill aligned to the implant trajectory
• Activate the motor and irrigation simultaneously to begin drilling at the recommended RPM
• Apply controlled apical pressure with intermittent pumping motion to allow saline to cool the bone
• Progress through the implant drill sequence at the appropriate speed for each diameter
• Engage the implant insertion driver to seat the implant at low RPM with high torque control

Post Use Care

• Disconnect the handpiece from the motor and irrigation line after the procedure
• Rinse and clean the external surfaces immediately to remove blood and debris
• Lubricate the handpiece using the recommended oil and clean cycle before sterilization
• Autoclave the handpiece at up to 135°C following the sterilization protocol
• Store in a clean dry tray or case to protect the head and chuck mechanism
