Shofu Beautifil Bulk Flowable Composite (Universal Shade) is a light-cured, bioactive bulk-fill restorative material designed to simplify posterior restorations while delivering excellent aesthetics and long-term clinical performance. Developed with advanced Giomer technology, it combines the strength of a highly filled composite with sustained fluoride release and recharge capability. This flowable composite allows placement in increments of up to 4 mm, reducing layering steps and saving valuable chairside time. Its smooth, self-leveling consistency ensures excellent adaptation to cavity walls, minimizing voids and improving marginal integrity. The Universal Shade is formulated to blend naturally with surrounding tooth structure, providing aesthetic results across a wide range of cases.

SUSTAINED PROTECTION:

BEAUTIFIL-Bulk Flowable materials are based on S-PRG filler technology that is known to provide a fluoride rich environment through the sustained release and recharge of fluoride. S-PRG fillers help to neutralise the effects of acidogenic bacterial flora, create an acid resistant layer and promote remineralization while imparting an anti-plaque effect on the restoration surface.

Directions for Use

• Tooth Preparation: Prepare the tooth by removing any decay or damaged tooth structure. The tooth should be cleaned, dried, and isolated with a dental dam or cotton rolls.
• Etching: Apply a dental etchant, such as phosphoric acid, to the tooth surface for the recommended time, typically 15-30 seconds. Rinse and dry the tooth thoroughly.
• Bonding: Apply a bonding agent to the tooth surface and spread it evenly with a micro brushor applicator tip. Light-cure the bonding agent for the recommended time.
• Placement of the Composite: Dispense the Shofu Beautifil Bulk Flowable Composite Universal Shade onto the tooth and shape it with a composite instrument. Light-cure the composite for the recommended time.
• Finishing and Polishing: Finish and polish the composite using burs, discs, and polishing brushes to achieve a smooth surface and a natural-looking appearance.
