Shofu Beautifil Opaquer – UO is a versatile fluoride-releasing, nanohybrid direct aesthetic restorative material that contains modified S-PRG fillers designed for a variety of anterior and posterior restorations. Beautifil Opaquer is used for masking discolorations, staining and metal color as well as pulp capping. The flowable composite is available in two shades “Universal Opaque” and “Light Opaque” and offers high coverage even with a thin layer. Formulated as a flowable opaque composite with the proven S-PRG filler technology to provide
bioactive benefits while effectively masking deep discoloration with a thin layer. Reputed as the secret to success when creating minimally invasive life-like restorations.

Directions for Use

• Pretreatment of the material to be bonded
  Perform appropriate pretreatment for each material to be bonded (composite resin, porcelain, metal or natural tooth). Follow the instructions of each pretreatment material.
•  Setting of Needle Tip
  Follow the instructions below to attach the BEAUTIFIL Needle Tip provided. Pull off the shield cap while turning it slowly. Attach the needle tip by turning it clockwise until it is securely attached. Wear clean medical (dental gloves) when replacing the needle tip.
• Application
  Apply the necessary amount of BEAUTIFIL OPAQUER directly to the material to be bonded. BEAUTIFIL OPAQUER may also be extruded onto a paper pad to be applied with a suitable instrument. When storing these materials in a refrigerator, allow them to reach room temperature before use. The paste dispensed onto the paper pad should be shielded from ambient light by a light-shielding cover to avoid unintended polymerization of the material. BEAUTIFIL OPAQUER should be applied as thinly as possible (0.5 mm or less) Needle tips should be used for only one patient and then discarded at the end of the procedure to avoid cross contamination.
• Light-curing
  Light-cure using a dental light-curing unit. When applying thickly, incremental placement
  and light-curing are required. When the cavity surface or the area to be repaired is large, light-cure in segments. Dental light-curing unit and light-curing tim.
• Use a dental light-curing unit having specifications equivalent to those described above.
  When using the one having performance other than these recommendations, follow the
  instructions of each unit to light-cure BEAUTIFIL OPAQUER properly. Operators must use protective glasses or light shielding plates to avoid looking directly at the
  curing light.
• Then, tightly close the cap. Use caution to avoid including alcohol into the paste. Disinfect the light-curing unit with alcohol after each use to avoid cross-contamination. Fill direct composite resin and light-cure. Then, contour, finish and polish.
