Directions for Use

A. Software & Driver Installation

• Insert the Driver Installation CD and run the setup to install the EzSensor calibration driver
• Select ‘EzSensor 1.5’ when prompted during the feature selection step
• Install EasyDent V4 from the provided installation CD and complete the setup
• Restart the computer before connecting the sensor hardware

B. Hardware Connection

• Connect the EzSensor module cable into the Control Box first
• Then connect the USB cable from the Control Box to the USB 2.0 port on the PC
• Confirm the green LED on the Control Box is illuminated — this indicates successful USB connection

C. Pre-Use Check

• Inspect the outer surface of the EzSensor for any visible cracks, chips, or damage before each use
• If any damage is detected, do not use the sensor — contact your authorised distributor
• Place a fresh disposable hygienic barrier/cover over the sensor before intraoral placement

D. Image Capture

• Launch EasyDent V4 and register or search for the patient
• Click the ‘Sensor’ button on the toolbar and select ‘EzSensor 1.5’ as the capture device
• Choose the appropriate image type (HC — High Contrast is the default recommendation)
• Select the tooth position on the dental chart and click ‘Capture’
• Position the sensor in the patient’s mouth with the flat (active) face directed towards the X-ray source
• Use the parallel technique with a cone indicator for proper alignment between sensor and X-ray beam
• Set X-ray parameters (kVp and mA) on the X-ray source as per the exposure guidance table
• Press the X-ray exposure button when the “Please expose X-ray” message appears on screen
• Wait for the “Optimizing Image… Please wait” message to clear — the image will appear automatically
• Click ‘DB Save’ to store the image in the patient database

• 5 year Warranty against the manufacturing defect for the sensor. Physical Damage on Sensor is not covered under warranty.
• Service and Warranty are handled by the manufacturer/importer directly for this product.
• Dentalkart will not be liable to replace the Products and the liability to replace any such Product is that of the Manufacturer/Importer
• Dentalkart and the Buyer acknowledge that the Products purchased/used are a subject matter of original Manufacturer/Importer’s warranties only
• Any or all claims in relation to returns and replacement shall be made to the concerned Manufacturer/Importer only and Dentalkart may assist the customer in registering a request to get the Product replaced or serviced.
