Directions for Use

• Shade Selection: Record the patient’s pre-operative tooth shade for comparison after whitening.

• Tooth Preparation: Clean teeth with pumice to remove plaque and surface stains, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

• Isolation: Place cheek retractors and apply petroleum jelly to the lips for protection.

• Gingival Protection: Apply Gingiva Shield VLC along the gingival margins, slightly overlapping the enamel and interproximal areas.

• Curing: Light cure the gingival barrier for 20–30 seconds using a fanning motion until fully set.

• Gel Preparation: Empty the liquid into the powder container and mix thoroughly using a brush until a smooth, homogeneous gel forms.

• Application: Apply a thick, even layer of whitening gel to the tooth surfaces being treated.

• Waiting Time: Allow the gel to remain on the teeth for 10 minutes.

• Repeat Application: Suction saliva and repeat the application 2–3 cycles using freshly mixed gel if required.

• Completion: After the final cycle, suction and rinse thoroughly, then carefully remove the Gingiva Shield barrier from the gingiva.
