Description

Maarc ZOE Impression Paste is a high-quality dental impression material based on Zinc Oxide Eugenol (ZOE), formulated to provide accurate detail reproduction with excellent dimensional stability. It is supplied in a two-paste system—base and catalyst—that blends easily to form a homogenous, smooth mix with ideal working consistency. The material exhibits excellent flow properties, allowing it to capture fine anatomical details, especially in edentulous and partially edentulous cases. Its controlled setting time provides sufficient working time for proper placement and positioning without premature hardening. Once set, the impression remains rigid and stable, ensuring precision in model fabrication. The paste also offers good mucostatic behavior and minimal tissue displacement, making it suitable for complete denture impressions. Additionally, the presence of eugenol contributes to its soothing effect on oral tissues. Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure trays are clean and dry.

• Select appropriate size impression tray for the patient.

Dispensing:

• Squeeze equal lengths of base and catalyst pastes onto a clean mixing pad or glass slab.

Mixing:

• Using a stainless steel spatula, thoroughly mix the two pastes until a uniform color is achieved (typically within 30–45 seconds).

Loading:

• Quickly load the mixed material into the impression tray.

Placement:

• Insert the tray into the patient’s mouth and seat it gently in the required position.

Setting:

• Allow the material to set intraorally (usually within 3–5 minutes; check product packaging for exact timing).

Removal:

• Once set, carefully remove the impression from the mouth.

Post-use:

• Rinse impression with water, disinfect if required, and store appropriately before pouring.
