Key Highlights

Self-adhesive, dual-cure resin cement offering strong, durable bonds without separate primers

Description

Kuraray Panavia SA Luting Multi Handmix Cement – Translucent is a dual-cure, self-adhesive resin cement that offers reliable bonding without the need for primers or silane. Formulated with proprietary MDP and LCSi monomers, it creates strong chemical bonds to metals, zirconia, enamel, dentin, porcelain, lithium disilicate, and composites. This versatile cement simplifies the procedure with its handmix delivery, allowing equal parts of Paste A and B to be combined easily on a pad. It features excellent fluoride release, low film thickness (approx. 16 µm), and radiopacity for clinical confidence. Designed for crown, bridge, inlay, onlay, and post cementation, it ensures durable, long-lasting adhesion and easy excess removal. PANAVIA SA Luting Multi is ideal for users seeking efficiency and dependable results in daily practice.

Directions for Use

Preparation of Tooth and Restoration:

  • Clean and dry the tooth surface thoroughly
  • Trial fit the restoration to ensure proper fit
  • No etching, priming, or silane required—PANAVIA SA Cement Universal is self-adhesive

Mixing the Cement (Handmix Version):

  • Dispense equal amounts of Paste A and Paste B onto a mixing pad
  • Mix thoroughly for approximately 10 seconds until a homogenous paste is obtained

Application:

  • Apply the mixed cement directly to the internal surface of the restoration
  • Seat the restoration onto the tooth with firm, steady pressure

Curing and Cement Removal:

  • Light-cure for 2–5 seconds to tack set the cement, or let it self-cure for 2–4 minutes
  • Gently remove excess cement with an explorer or scaler

Final Curing:

  • Light-cure all margins for a total of 5 seconds per surface (more for translucent restorations)
  • Ensure proper isolation for 5 minutes to allow full chemical setting
