Description

The drill stoppers are compatible with ALL Dental Implant Drill systems. (Israeli System, Korean System, Swiss/USA System, Basal Systems, Densah/ Osseodensification Burs).

Target Length is to cover 5mm-13mm from each drill system and 2mm-10mm length for Densah burs.

The Drill-Stop-Control System provides the ideal preparation for the implant bed. The standardized twist drills have fixed diameters and fixed lengths. In addition, they are equipped with depth designations. Perfectly compatible with all implant systems presently in the market.

Directions to Use

Preparation

• Sterilize the drill stopper kit through autoclave before each clinical use.
• Confirm the planned osteotomy depth from the surgical guide or pre-operative CBCT plan.
• Identify the corresponding drill diameter and select the matching stopper size from the kit.

Placement

• Slide the appropriate stopper onto the implant drill until it sits firmly at the marking that corresponds to the desired depth.
• Ensure the stopper is fully seated and rotates concentrically with the drill shank without wobble.
• Cross-verify the exposed drill length against the planned osteotomy depth before mounting on the contra-angle handpiece.

Operation

• Mount the assembled drill into the implant motor handpiece and confirm secure engagement.
• Begin osteotomy preparation with copious saline irrigation, advancing in a pumping motion until the stopper contacts the crestal bone reference point.
• Stop drilling immediately once the stopper meets the bone surface to prevent over-preparation and apical perforation.
• Repeat sequentially with progressively larger drills, changing the stopper to match each drill diameter.

Post Use Care

• Detach the stoppers from the drills immediately after the procedure and rinse under running water to remove debris and bone fragments.
• Clean ultrasonically in enzymatic solution, dry thoroughly, and re-sterilize through autoclave before storage.
• Inspect each stopper for wear, deformation, or loss of grip, and discard any unit that no longer seats firmly on the drill shank.
