Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Assess the bone density and anatomy using CBCT imaging to determine the appropriate treatment plan.

Flap Creation:

• Flap the soft tissue in the area where the implant will be placed, exposing the bone.

Pilot Hole:

• Start with a narrow pilot drill (1.3 mm – 1.5 mm) in clockwise mode to create a pilot hole, going 1 mm deeper than the planned implant length.

Use of Osseodensification Burs:

• Select the smallest Densah® bur and set the drill motor to reverse (counterclockwise) at a speed of 800-1500 RPM. Ensure copious irrigation during the process.
• Begin drilling into the osteotomy site, applying a pumping motion: lift off pressure and reapply repeatedly until the desired depth is achieved.
• Progressively use larger Densah® burs to expand the osteotomy incrementally, ensuring minimal bone dehiscence.

Implant Placement:

• Once the desired osteotomy diameter is reached, place the implant with a diameter equal to or slightly larger than the initial ridge width.

Post-Procedure Care:

• Assess the site for healing and soft tissue closure after the procedure, and consider using bone graft material if needed.
