Orikam is introducing the Eighteeth Medical Fast Pack Pro – Down Pack Device. This GP cutter is an internally heated tip which is the Smartest, Safest, and most Sophisticated. In this, only the tip’s working end is heated, avoiding the need for insulated sleeves. The non-working end is insulated internally and stays cool, making it comfortable for patients and saving battery. There is a safety cap where the tip’s non-working end is plugged into the device which makes it safer to use while changing tips. 

It’s 360 degree start/stop ring allows holding the device at any angle which is comfortable for doctors. It has left/right handling operation with a comfortable grip and is very light in weight.

It has highly efficient Li-ion batteries which retain charge for a longer time. It takes only 2 hours to completely charge along with 15 min of turbo charge to 30% and auto-switch to regular charging after that. It can be used for continuous operation till 4 hours at 250 degree Celsius. It can handle 50 cases with a single charge. There is an option given to direct plug-in to electric supply when the battery goes zero.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the device is fully charged or connected to a power supply
• Select and attach the appropriate heated tip securely

Device Settings:

• Adjust the temperature (90°C – 250°C) based on clinical requirements
• Set the auto cut-off time (3 to 10 seconds) for controlled operation
• Choose a pre-programmed setting (T1-T5) for convenience if needed

Operation:

• Power on the device and hold it comfortably using the 360° start/stop ring
• Place the heated tip on the target material (e.g., gutta percha)
• Activate the device to heat, soften, and compact the material

During Use:

• Use consistent pressure to cut or compact gutta percha while maintaining control
• Allow the device to quickly heat (0.5 seconds to 250°C) and cool (2 seconds) as required

Post-Procedure:

• Turn off the device and allow it to cool
• Remove and clean the tip carefully
• Recharge the device if needed or store it properly

• Avoid direct contact of the heated tip with soft tissues
• Always use the safety cap when changing or storing tips
