Description
Dentsply Calibra Universal Self-Adhesive Resin Cement is an innovative dental product designed to simplify and enhance the process of permanent dental restoration cementation. This two-component, dual-cure resin cement stands out for its versatility and ease of use.
Calibra Universal boasts a comprehensive range of applications, suitable for cementing a wide variety of dental restorations, including metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM), resin/composite, ceramic, and porcelain inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, and endodontic posts. What sets it apart is its self-adhesive nature, eliminating the need for a separate dentin/enamel adhesive bonding agent or system, streamlining the dental procedure.
One of its key features is the extended working time it offers, with a tack-cure window of up to 10 seconds and a generous 45-second gel-phase, simplifying cleanup and reducing the stress associated with the procedure. Furthermore, the high radiopacity of Calibra Universal aids in providing a clear view of the restoration material within the crown, reducing the chances of misdiagnosis and costly remakes.
With five esthetic shade options and the inclusion of Shade Stable Technology to prevent color shifts over time, Calibra Universal caters to various aesthetic requirements. Additionally, its high immediate bond strength ensures a strong initial bond for reliable and durable restorations.
In summary, Calibra Universal Self-Adhesive Resin Cement is a versatile, efficient, and user-friendly product that simplifies the dental restoration process while ensuring esthetic and functional excellence. It offers ease of use, strong bonding capabilities, and a wide range of applications, making it a valuable tool for dental professionals.
