- Ceramic, porcelain, composite inlays/onlays, veneers and crowns.
- All metal crowns, bridges, inlays/onlays including precious, semi-precious and non-precious metals.
- PFM (porcelain fused to metal) crowns and bridges.
- Prefabricated and cast posts.
- Resin-bonded retainer bridges (Maryland bridges).
Contraindications:
- Calibra Cement is contraindicated for use with patients who have a history of severe allergic reaction to methacrylate resins or any of the components.

Directions for Use
The following preparatory steps apply to cementation of all types of indirect restorations:
- Following removal of the temporary restoration and any remaining temporary cement, clean enamel and dentin as directed by the adhesive manufacturer’s directions.
- Check the fit and esthetics of the restoration. Technique Tip: Occlusal adjustment of inlays/onlays/veneers is best accomplished after final cementation.
Treatment of the Restoration:
- Preparation: Ensure the tooth surface and restoration are clean and free of debris.
- Adhesive Application: Apply a suitable dentin/enamel adhesive, ensure thorough coverage of the prepared tooth surface and the restoration.
- Cement Placement: Dispense an appropriate amount of Calibra Base onto the restoration or tooth surface. Use a suitable applicator or instrument to distribute the cement evenly.
- Seating the Restoration: Carefully place the restoration onto the prepared tooth surface, ensuring proper alignment and fit. Apply gentle pressure to ensure full seating of the restoration.
- Light Curing: Expose the cement to a visible light source, ensure adequate light exposure to facilitate proper curing.
- Finishing: Remove any excess cement from the restoration margins using suitable instruments. Check for any discrepancies in fit or alignment and make adjustments as necessary.
- Final Cure: Allow the cement to undergo complete chemical curing, ensure adequate time for proper setting.
- Polishing: Once the cement has fully cured, polish the restoration to achieve a smooth and esthetic finish. Use appropriate polishing instruments and techniques for optimal results.
- Post-operative Instructions: Provide the patient with post-operative instructions for proper care and maintenance of the restoration. Advise them on oral hygiene practices and follow-up appointments as needed.
