Manufactured from medical-grade titanium, it serves as the structural interface between the implant fixture and a CAD/CAM-milled zirconia superstructure, enabling clinicians to deliver aesthetic hybrid restorations with reliable mechanical performance. The Mini platform configuration makes it ideal for narrow-diameter implants placed in lower anteriors, upper laterals, or sites with limited bone width. Directions for Use

Preparation

• Verify implant platform compatibility (Osstem Mini)
• Inspect the Ti Base for any machining defects, surface damage, or contamination.
• Clean and disinfect the implant connection area intraorally before seating.

Operation

• Connect the corresponding scan body to the implant and capture a digital impression.
• Design the zirconia superstructure in CAD software.
• Mill the zirconia crown as per the digital design.
• Sandblast and clean the bonding surface of the Ti Base using the recommended protocol.
• Bond the zirconia superstructure to the Ti Base extraorally using a suitable resin cement.
• Seat the bonded assembly onto the implant and torque the prosthetic screw to the manufacturer’s recommended value.
• Seal the screw access channel with PTFE tape and composite as per clinical protocol.

Post Use Care

• Inspect the restoration for occlusion, contacts, and marginal fit before final delivery.
• Advise the patient on oral hygiene practices around implant-supported restorations.
• Schedule periodic follow-ups to monitor screw integrity and peri-implant tissue health.
• Retain the patient’s prosthetic record, including torque value and Ti Base batch details.
• Dispose of any unused or contaminated components as per clinical waste guidelines.
