B-OstIN is synthetic biocompatible material composed of elements that occur naturally in the bone i.e hydroxapatite (HAP). B-OstIN is made by wet chemical methods and thereafter converted into porous mass through ceramic processing routes. B-OstIN is most osteoconductive material with helps in bone bonding withing 3 month, fastest of all ceramic constituents.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the surgical site is clean and free from debris or infection.
• Open the B-Ostin HA package in a sterile environment to maintain product sterility.

Hydration:

• Hydrate the synthetic bone graft material with sterile saline, patient’s blood, or bone marrow aspirate, depending on clinical preference and procedure requirements.
• Allow the material to soak until fully moistened for optimal handling.

Placement:

• Prepare the recipient site to create a stable bed for the graft.
• Gently place the hydrated graft material into the defect site using sterile instruments.
• Pack the material lightly to ensure close contact with the surrounding bone without over-compression.

Stabilization:

• Secure the graft with a resorbable membrane, mesh, or sutures if necessary to maintain its position and promote osseointegration.

Irrigation and Closure:

• Irrigate the area with sterile saline to ensure cleanliness before closure.
• Close the surgical site using appropriate suturing techniques.

Postoperative Care:
