Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure aseptic conditions and proper patient preparation, including isolation with a rubber dam.
• Scouting the Canal: Begin by scouting the canal using stainless steel K-Files (size 10 or 15) to locate and establish the working length. Use ProFinder Files (size 10, 13, or 17) if necessary.
• Lubrication: Apply a lubricant like Glyde to the canal. This helps the files slide smoothly and establishes working length.
• Selecting File Size: Choose the appropriate Progressive Taper Gold Hand File (SX to F3) based on the specifics of the case and the desired shaping.
• Instrumentation: Follow the recommended sequence of file usage, typically starting with the smaller sizes and progressing to larger ones. Use a gentle brushing motion to shape the canal. Do not use brushing action with finishing files (F2 and F3).
• Working Length: Be cautious not to advance the file beyond the established working length. Pay special attention to avoid blockages and maintain the file’s path within the canal.
• Foramen Measurement: Gauge the diameter of the apical foramen with stainless steel files. If the foramen is larger than 20, consider using F2 or F3 to the working length to match the apical diameter.
