Directions for Use

1. Selection of Tray Size: Choose the appropriate size of the Waldent Edentulous Perforated Impression Tray based on the arch size and anatomy of the patient’s edentulous ridges.

2. Preparation: Ensure the impression tray is clean and dry before use. Verify that the tray is free from any defects that could compromise the impression quality.

3. Application of Tray Adhesive (if necessary): Apply a thin layer of tray adhesive to the inner surface of the impression tray to enhance the retention of the impression material.

4. Mixing Impression Material: Prepare the impression material according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Mix the material thoroughly to achieve a homogeneous consistency.

5. Loading the Tray: Load the mixed impression material into the Waldent Edentulous Perforated Impression Tray. Ensure that the tray is uniformly filled with impression material, covering all the perforations and extending slightly beyond the borders of the tray.

6. Insertion into Patient’s Mouth: Seat the loaded impression tray into the patient’s mouth, positioning it over the edentulous ridges. Instruct the patient to close gently into centric occlusion or perform any necessary functional movements to ensure accurate impression capture.

7. Setting Time: Allow the impression material to set completely according to the manufacturer’s recommended setting time. Maintain gentle pressure on the tray during this setting period to ensure accurate detail reproduction.

8. Removal of Tray: Once the impression material has fully set, carefully remove the Waldent Edentulous Perforated Impression Tray from the patient’s mouth. Avoid any sudden movements that could distort the impression.

9. Inspection of Impression: Examine the impression for completeness and accuracy. Check for adequate detail reproduction of the edentulous ridges and surrounding tissues.

10. Cleaning and Disinfection: Clean the impression tray thoroughly after use. Follow appropriate disinfection protocols to prepare the tray for reuse or storage.
