Vincismile TopCEM RMGIC is an advanced Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cement (RMGI) Luting Cement that offers a unique triple curing mechanism for superior dental applications. This cutting-edge product combines the benefits of conventional acid-base glass ionomer reaction, methacrylate resin chemical curing, and on-demand light curability.

The cement is radiopaque, providing excellent visibility of abutment teeth in prosthetic work, equivalent to more than 2.0 mm of aluminum. It comes in a two-part paste/paste system, ensuring ease of use and convenience over traditional powder/liquid luting systems.

One of its standout features is its filler content, comprising a blend of silane-treated barium-boro-silicate glass and acid-reactive fluoroaluminosilicate glass fillers. These fillers have a hybrid particle size ranging from 0.01 to 3 micrometers, contributing to a filler loading of approximately 65% by weight. Additionally, the resin system is a combination of phosphate and other methacrylate resins, excluding Bisphenol A (BPA) derivatives and Bis-GMA resin.

Vincismile TopCEM RMGIC provides strong bond strength to tooth structures without requiring an etchant or adhesive, simplifying the cementation process. Its excess can be easily managed by allowing the cement to reach its gel state through self-curing or tack-curing methods.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the tooth surface and restoration are clean and free of debris.
• Select the appropriate shade of cement based on the restoration and tooth color.

Mixing:

• Dispense equal lengths of the base and catalyst pastes onto a mixing pad.
• Mix the pastes thoroughly using a spatula until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.

Application:

• Load the mixed cement onto the restoration or inside the crown.
• Seat the restoration firmly onto the prepared tooth, ensuring proper alignment.

Excess Removal:

• Remove excess cement using a scaler or explorer before the cement sets fully.
• Use floss or an interproximal brush to clean any residual cement from interproximal spaces.

Curing:

• Allow the cement to reach its gel state through self-curing or initiate light curing as per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Use a curing light to polymerize the cement for the recommended duration.

Final Steps:

• Evaluate the occlusion and make any necessary adjustments.
• Polish the restoration surface to achieve a smooth finish.

Post-Operative Care:

• Instruct the patient on oral hygiene practices and follow-up appointments.
• Provide post-operative instructions and any necessary medications.
