Description

Dental Opener tool to open orthodontic self-ligating stainless steel passive bracket.

The slot of self-ligating SL brackets is open by twisting the sliding lid to gingival direction. The special design makes the brackets aggregate towards the gingival side. Reduced height of occlusal tie-wings avoids occlusion interferences between the brackets and corresponding teeth in the opposite arch improving patient comfort.

Directions for Use

• Sterilize the instrument before every procedure.

• Identify the sliding lid of the self-ligating bracket.

• Position the sharp or hook end of the opener at the lid edge.

• Apply gentle twisting motion toward the gingival side to open the slot.

• Verify slot is fully open and place or adjust the archwire.

• To close, guide the lid back into position with controlled pressure.

• After use, rinse, clean thoroughly, and re-sterilize before storage
