Directions for Use

Preparation

• Identify the tooth requiring full coverage restoration and complete all necessary pulp treatment — pulpotomy or pulpectomy — prior to crown placement
• Select the appropriate crown from the kit based on the tooth position (D or E series), quadrant (UL, UR, LL, LR), and size (2 through 7)

Crown Selection & Sizing

• Try the selected crown size on the prepared tooth and verify the fit by checking mesio-distal width, cervical adaptation, and occlusal clearance
• If the crown is too tight or too loose, select the next appropriate size from the kit for a better fit

Adaptation & Contouring

• Use crown and bridge scissors and contouring pliers to trim and adapt the cervical margins of the crown to follow the gingival contour of the prepared tooth
• Ensure the crown margin extends approximately 1mm below the free gingival margin for adequate retention and seal

Cementation

• Fill the crown with an appropriate luting cement — glass ionomer cement is recommended — ensuring full internal coverage
• Seat the crown firmly onto the prepared tooth with finger pressure, then ask the patient to bite on a cotton roll to fully seat the crown
• Remove all excess cement from the margins using a scaler or explorer before the cement fully sets

Post Placement Check

• Verify the occlusion using articulating paper and adjust if any high spots are detected
• Check interproximal contacts and confirm gingival health around the crown margins before dismissing the patient
