Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure that the irrigation needle is in its sterile packaging and has not been compromised. Discard if the packaging is damaged or the needle appears unsterile.
• Setup: Attach the irrigation needle securely to the irrigation syringe ensuring a tight seal to prevent leakage.
• Preparation of Irrigant: Prepare the irrigation solution as per the recommended protocol or prescription by the dental practitioner. Use an appropriate irrigant solution for root canal irrigation.
• Insertion: Gently insert the needle into the root canal, taking care to avoid penetration of the apex. The rounded tip and closed front-end design help prevent tissue damage.
• Irrigation: Administer the irrigant solution slowly and steadily, using gentle pressure on the syringe plunger. Ensure thorough irrigation of the entire length of the root canal.
• Activation: Activate the irrigation needle by depressing the syringe plunger intermittently, allowing the irrigant solution to flow effectively through the vent into the root canal.
• Flush and Repeat: Flush the root canal with the irrigant solution multiple times to remove debris and blood effectively. Repeat the irrigation process as necessary until the canal is thoroughly cleaned.
• Completion: Once irrigation is complete, carefully remove the needle from the root canal. Dispose of the used needle properly according to medical waste disposal guidelines.
• Post-Irrigation: Follow up with any additional steps or treatments as prescribed by the dental practitioner to complete the root canal procedure.
• Record Keeping: Document the irrigation procedure, including the type and volume of irrigant used, in the patient’s dental records for future reference.
