The Enamel Adjustment Kit is indispensable in the dental practice for very fine adjustments of a natural dentition or porcelain restorations and subsequent high gloss polishing in the patient’s mouth

Directions for Use

• Use appropriate protective equipment: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, a face mask, and gloves, to protect yourself and your patient.
• Select the appropriate grit: Shofu Dura Green Stones FG come in a range of grit sizes, from coarse to fine. Select the appropriate grit size for the task at hand, keeping in mind that a coarser grit will remove material more quickly but may result in a rougher surface, while a finer grit will remove material more slowly but may result in a smoother surface.
• Use water or a lubricant: Use water or a lubricant such as a dental handpiece lubricant to cool the stone and prevent heat buildup, which can damage the tooth structure or restorative material and cause discomfort to the patient.
• Apply light pressure: Apply light pressure to the stone while it’s in motion to avoid overheating the tooth or restorative material.
• Use the appropriate speed: Use the appropriate speed for the handpiece and the task at hand. Generally, a higher speed is used for cutting and a lower speed is used for polishing and finishing.
• Clean and sterilize: After use, clean and sterilize the stones according to the manufacturer’s instructions to prevent cross-contamination and ensure that they remain in good condition for future use.
