Directions for Use

Selection:

• Choose the appropriate size of LumiContrast sectional matrix based on the tooth and cavity to be restored

Preparation:

• Ensure the tooth and surrounding area are clean and dry
• Place a rubber dam if needed to isolate the working area

Placement:

• Insert the LumiContrast sectional matrix into the interproximal space, ensuring it wraps around the tooth snugly
• Position the matrix to cover the entire cavity area that requires restoration

Stabilization:

• Use interdental wedges to secure the matrix in place
• Ensure the matrix is stable and properly contoured to the tooth structure

Restoration:

• Begin the restorative procedure using your preferred composite or filling material.
• Use light curing equipment as needed, taking advantage of the matrix’s low reflection and high contrast for better visibility

Finishing:

• Once the restoration is complete, carefully remove the interdental wedges.
• Gently remove the LumiContrast sectional matrix without disturbing the newly placed restoration

Final Adjustments:

• Check the restoration for any overhangs or rough edges
• Make any necessary adjustments to ensure a smooth and well-contoured restoration

Clean-Up:

• Remove the rubber dam if used
• Rinse the patient’s mouth to ensure all debris is cleared away
