Directions for Use

• Preparation of Teeth:

  • Clean the patient’s teeth thoroughly to remove any plaque or debris.
  • Ensure the teeth are dry and isolate them using a cheek retractor or cotton rolls.

• Etching and Bonding:

  • Apply an etching solution to the enamel surface for the recommended duration.
  • Rinse and dry the etched area until it appears frosty.
  • Apply a thin layer of bonding agent to the etched surface and cure as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

• Bracket Placement:

  • Apply adhesive to the base of the Phyx Nova Ceramic Bracket.
  • Place the bracket on the prepared tooth and align it according to the orthodontic treatment plan.
  • Remove excess adhesive around the bracket base before curing.

• Curing:

  • Use a curing light to secure the bracket to the tooth. Follow the specified curing time to ensure proper adhesion.

• Archwire Insertion:

  • Once all brackets are bonded, insert the archwire into the slots of the brackets. Secure it with ligatures or self-ligating mechanisms as applicable.

• Post-Procedure Care:

  • Check for proper alignment and patient comfort.
