ProxiStrip IPR is an innovative, precision dental strip system designed to achieve ideal proximal contact adjustment and complete marginal seating of crowns, veneers, inlays/Onlays, and proximal contouring of composite fillings accurately with minimal time and effort.

IPR System makes interproximal enamel stripping safe and accurate without creating sharp corners or subgingival ledges. Designed for use with orthodontic treatments, these flexible strips curve and conform to the natural contours of the teeth to maximize patient comfort and safety.

The ProxiStrip comes with a sawtooth edge strip (Blade) for cutting through, and five different types of an abrasive corrugated surface strip for cleaning the interdental space and polishing the teeth surface.

Directions for Use

• Preparation:

  • Ensure the patient’s teeth are clean and dry before starting the procedure.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, mask, and eyewear.
  • Select the appropriate saw blade for the desired amount of enamel reduction or space creation.

• Assembly:

  • Attach the chosen blade securely to the handpiece, ensuring it is locked in place.
  • Verify that the blade is properly aligned to prevent uneven reduction.

• Operation:

  • Activate the handpiece and set it to the recommended speed as per the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Position the blade carefully in the interproximal space requiring reduction.
  • Apply gentle, controlled pressure, moving the blade back and forth to achieve the desired reduction.
  • Avoid over-reducing enamel or damaging adjacent teeth and soft tissues.

• Checking Progress:

  • Periodically stop and use a gauge to measure the space created.
  • Adjust the blade or technique as needed to achieve precise results.

• Finishing:

  • Smooth the reduced enamel surfaces using polishing strips or discs to ensure patient comfort and minimize roughness.
  • Rinse the patient’s mouth thoroughly to remove debris.

• Post-Procedure Care:
