HERO Shaper® rotary nickel-titanium files streamline orthograde endodontic treatment by offering excellent cutting efficiency and adaptability across varying canal complexities. Designed for use at low speeds between 300 to 600 rpm, these files are ideal for managing irreversible pulp pathology, pulpitis, and necrosis. Their design supports the crown-down technique, using .06 taper files for the coronal third and .04 taper for the apical third, allowing progressive flaring and removal of canal constraints. HERO Shaper® files also feature varying helical pitch and optimized cutting lengths, offering flexibility for curved canals and resistance to torsional stress.
Indications
Yellow sequence: Difficult canals, severely curved, possibly with significant hypercalcification, making any first penetration tricky with the finest hand files.
Red sequence: Canals of average difficulty with moderate curvature and/or more hypercalcification, making first penetration with a no.10 K file harde to achieve.
Blue sequence: Easy canal preparation, low curvature, orifice and canal large enough to allow a n°15 K file to reach the Apex.
