Pre-Operative Assessment:

Biomechanical Preparation:

• Perform standard root canal cleaning and shaping using files and irrigating solutions to remove debris and shape the canal appropriately.

Working Length Determination:

• Use electronic apex locators or radiographs to determine the accurate working length of the canal. The length markings on Meta Gutta Percha Points can assist in this process.

Cone Fitting:

• Select the Meta Gutta Percha Point size and taper that matches the prepared canal. Ensure the Gutta Percha Point reaches the working length without extruding beyond the apex.

Obturation Technique:

• Choose the appropriate obturation technique based on the case requirements. Meta Gutta Percha Points are compatible with various techniques, including Cold Lateral Compaction, warm vertical compaction, or the Single Cone technique.

Seating the Gutta Percha Point:

• Insert the Gutta Percha Point into the canal using the chosen obturation technique. Ensure proper adaptation and seating of the point to achieve a complete seal. Apply gentle pressure to condense the Gutta Percha within the canal.

Heat Activation (if using warm vertical compaction):
