Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Gather all the necessary instruments and materials, including Mani Pluggers 21mm, gutta-percha cones, root canal sealer, heating unit (if applicable), and radiographic verification tools.

Gutta-Percha Selection:

• Choose a gutta-percha cone that matches the size and shape of the prepared root canal and trim it if necessary to reach the working length.

Thermal Softening (If Applicable):

• If using a thermoplasticized gutta-percha obturation system.

Insert Gutta-Percha Cone:

• Carefully place the softened gutta-percha cone into the root canal, ensuring it reaches the working length without overextending.
• Use gentle apical pressure to seat the cone, ensuring good adaptation to the canal walls.

Vertical Condensation:

• Hold Mani Pluggers 21mm firmly but gently in your dominant hand.
• With controlled vertical pressure, use the tapered end of the plugger to compact the gutta-percha against the canal walls.
• Apply slight lateral forces as needed to achieve optimal adaptation to irregularities in the canal walls.

Excess Gutta-Percha Removal:

• Trim any excess gutta-percha that protrudes coronally using a heated instrument or spatula, ensuring not to push material apically.

Procedure Completion:

• Seal the access cavity with an appropriate restorative material, such as composite resin, to prevent coronal leakage.
• Document the procedure in the patient’s records.

Postoperative Instructions:

• Provide the patient with clear postoperative care instructions, including any medications, oral hygiene, and follow-up appointments.

Cleaning and Sterilization:
