Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure you have the appropriate Mani Diamond Bur from the CR Polishing Series for your intended dental procedure.
• Inspect the bur for any visible damage, and if it is bent or damaged, do not use it.

Sterilization:

• If the bur is not pre-sterilized, it should be properly sterilized before use, following standard dental instrument sterilization procedures.

Handpiece Connection:

• Insert the bur’s shank into the dental handpiece according to the instructions provided by the handpiece manufacturer. Ensure that the insertion is full-length and secure.

Coolant and Lubrication:

• Always use a coolant spray during the procedure to prevent overheating and maintain proper cooling. Ensure that there is an adequate water supply.

Pressure and RPM:

• Set the pressure within the recommended range, typically between 20 to 50 psi, for burs with a diameter up to 023.
• Ensure that you operate the bur at or below the maximum allowable RPM specified for the particular Mani Diamond Bur model you are using.

Technique:

• Avoid levering, tilting, twisting, and jamming motions during use. Instead, use controlled, precise movements.
• Do not use a pulling motion; instead, guide the bur gently in the desired direction.

Patient Comfort:

• Ensure the patient’s comfort and minimize vibration or discomfort during the procedure.

Post-Procedure Care:

• After use, properly clean and sterilize the bur again for reuse if applicable. Dispose of single-use burs properly.

Maintenance:

• Handle the burs with care to prevent damage or bending. Store them in a clean, dry, and safe place.
