Life Clinical Autoclaves are sturdily constructed in rust-proof, heavy-gauge Aluminum for use in rugged conditions. It’s a unique vessel that generates steam under pressure and temperature between 120°C to 125° Celsius. On reaching the right temperature the instruments are subject to a saturated steam environment for a pre-specified time which results in safe and guaranteed sterilization.

The range of Autoclaves is available in various models and sizes from 4 litres capacity to 45 litres capacity to suit different applications. These can be used on Electricity as well as on many external heat sources such as kerosene stove, gas burner, wood & charcoal. All the models are equipped with heat resistant handles and other safety features. Needless to mention, the strict check is maintained at all stages of production.

Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Place the autoclave on a stable and flat surface.
• Ensure that the autoclave is properly connected to a suitable power source (in this case, 220V).

Loading the Autoclave:

• Open the lid of the autoclave.
• Arrange the items to be sterilized inside the autoclave chamber. Ensure proper spacing for effective steam circulation.

Adding Water:

• Add distilled water to the autoclave chamber. Refer to the user manual for the recommended water level.

Closing and Sealing:

• Close the lid of the autoclave securely, ensuring a tight seal.

Setting Parameters:

• Set the desired sterilization parameters:
• Sterilizing Temperature: 121 degrees Celsius (preset)
• Operating Pressure: 15 psi (preset)
• Adjust any other relevant settings according to the user manual.

Overpressure Protection:

• Confirm that the two-stage “Over Pressure” protection system is properly configured. This may involve checking the calibrated continuous bleeding pressure stopcock and pressure release weight valve.

Timer Setting:

• If your autoclave is equipped with a 1-hour rotary timer, set the desired sterilization time.

Powering On:

• Switch on the autoclave using the power switch.

Monitoring:

• Keep an eye on the color-coded pressure gauge. It will show the internal chamber condition during the cycle.

Completion and Cooling:

• Once the sterilization cycle is complete, allow the autoclave to cool down before attempting to open the lid.

Unloading:

• Carefully open the autoclave lid once it has cooled down.
• Remove sterilized items from the autoclave.
