Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Turn off the cooling water and atomization switches.
• Select a suitable lifter based on the position of the patient’s extracted teeth.
• Connect the dental pneumatic source connector to the universal connector of the dental treatment machine, ensuring a tight fit.

Installation:

• Grip the handle firmly with one hand.
• Align the tail of the head with the link hole and insert it while turning slightly until the head is in position. The head should not rotate freely.
• Loosen the tappet lock sleeve to allow it to reset automatically.
• Ensure that the push-pull head has a slight range of movement but remains securely in place.

Debugging:

• Confirm that the cooling water and atomization gas switches are off.
• Step on the pedal to test the pneumatics, checking for normal operation.
• Inspect the connection for any leaks at the gas source connection head.
• Verify that the air pressure indicator reads above 0.3 MPa during operation; adjust if necessary.

Operation:

• Use the pen-shaped handle to position the sharp edge of the blade in the periodontal space, ensuring the blade plane is aligned with the teeth.
• Step on the pedal to wedge the sharp edge to a depth of approximately 1.2 mm.
• Rotate the tappet within a small range to increase the gap. Ensure the tappet remains centered in the periodontal gap.
• Assess the gap size and avoid clamping the tappet. Repeat the process as needed, adjusting the wedge position similarly.
• For first-time use, wedge slightly shallower to avoid over-insertion.

Safety Precautions:

• Ensure the blade enters the periodontal space pneumatically and avoid damaging the maxillary sinus or neural tube.
• Use caution when applying force, particularly near thinner bone plates.
