Directions for Use

Preparation:

• Ensure the patient’s mouth is clean and free of debris.
• Select the appropriate size of the Jinguang Heat Mouldable Flexible Impression Tray from the refill pack.

Heating the Tray:

• Submerge the selected impression tray in hot water (approximately 70-80°C or 158-176°F) for about 30 seconds. This will make the tray pliable.
• Carefully remove the tray from the hot water using tongs or a similar tool to avoid burns.

Moulding the Tray:

• Quickly but gently shape the heated tray to fit the patient’s dental arch and ensure it aligns well with the unique soft tissue, bone shapes, or tooth positions.
• Press the tray against the dental arch to create a custom fit, making sure it is comfortable for the patient.

Cooling the Tray:

• Once the tray is properly shaped, rinse it briefly under cold water to set the new form.
• Check that the tray retains its shape and fits comfortably in the patient’s mouth.

Taking the Impression:

• Apply the appropriate dental impression material to the tray.
• Carefully insert the tray into the patient’s mouth, ensuring complete coverage of the area to be impressed.
• Instruct the patient to bite down gently if necessary and hold the tray in place for the required setting time of the impression material.

Removing the Tray:

• Once the impression material has set, gently remove the tray from the patient’s mouth.
• Inspect the impression for accuracy and detail. If the impression is satisfactory, proceed with the next steps in your workflow.

Disposal:

• Since the trays are single-use, dispose of the tray according to your dental practice’s waste disposal guidelines.

Post-Impression Care:

• Ensure the patient rinses their mouth to remove any residual impression material.
• Provide aftercare instructions if needed, based on the procedure that follows the impression-taking process.
