Directions for Use

Setup and Power On:

• Place the scaler unit on a stable surface and ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the scaler and an electrical outlet.
• Press the power button to turn the device on. The display will show the system’s operational status.
  

Install the Handpiece:

• Attach the ultrasonic handpiece to the scaler unit by connecting the appropriate cord to the handpiece socket.
• Make sure the handpiece is securely fixed in place.
  

Attach the Scaling Tip:

• Choose the appropriate scaling tip (e.g., insert the standard scaler tip for general use) and securely attach it to the handpiece, ensuring it’s locked into position.

Adjust Water Supply:

• Connect the water supply tube to the handpiece if required.
• Adjust the water flow by turning the water control dial on the scaler until an adequate flow is achieved for cooling the tip during operation.
  

Adjust Power Settings:

• Use the power control knob or buttons to adjust the ultrasonic power according to the type of procedure. Begin with lower power for delicate work and increase as needed for more aggressive scaling.

Operate the Scaler:

• Hold the handpiece firmly and apply gentle pressure while moving the tip over the tooth surfaces. The ultrasonic vibrations will remove calculus and plaque.

Clean and Turn Off:

• After use, power off the device, disconnect the handpiece and clean both the handpiece and scaler unit following the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.
