Description

Unolok Disposable Hypodermic Syringe comprises a Luer Lock nozzle for secure needle fitment and also consists of a high-quality barrel and plunger for better visibility of the substance to be injected. It is ideally suited for dental and cardiac patients.

The Luer Lock System makes sure of the secure fitment of the needle with the syringe thus making it a much-safer single-use hypodermic syringe. It also comprises a high-quality barrel and plunger with better retention due to locking at the base.

Luer-Lok tip – Our Luer-Lok tip is generally used for injections requiring a secure connection of the syringe to another device.

Luer slip tip – Our luer slip tip provides a friction-fit connection that requires you to push and twist the syringe tip into the needle hub.

Directions for Use

• Preparation

  • Wash and sanitize your hands thoroughly.
  • Inspect the packaging for any damage or tampering, and ensure the syringe is sterile before opening.
  • Open the packaging carefully to maintain sterility; avoid touching the tip of the syringe to prevent contamination.

  2. Attaching a Needle (if needed)

  • Select an appropriate needle if your procedure requires one.
  • Twist the needle onto the syringe’s luer lock (the tip with threads), ensuring it is securely attached.
  • Do not touch the needle tip after attaching it to maintain sterility.

  3. Filling the Syringe

  • Draw air into the syringe by pulling the plunger back to match the amount of medication or fluid you need to extract.
  • Insert the needle into the vial or ampule (if using a needle) and push the air into the container to equalize pressure.
  • Slowly pull back on the plunger to draw the liquid into the syringe, ensuring it reaches the correct dosage mark on the barrel.
  • Remove any air bubbles by gently tapping the syringe and pushing the plunger slightly to release the bubbles.

  4. Administering or Transferring the Solution

  • Use the syringe according to the required procedure (for injection, transfer, or other application).
  • Ensure you follow the correct protocols if using the syringe for an injection (angle, depth, and site).

  5. After Use

  • Dispose of the syringe and needle immediately after use in a sharps container.
  • Do not recap the needle to avoid accidental needle-stick injuries.
  • Wash hands thoroughly after disposal.
