• Used to carry small objects such as cotton pellets, gauze & other small objects.
• Marium curved tweezer is the inner serrated type with stainless steel body, and angled break handles.
• The beak of the tweezer is a delicate structure and should be handled with care.
• These beaks can distort easily if used carelessly or incorrectly.
• Inner guide pin provides stability.

Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure the tweezer is properly sterilized before use. Verify that it is in good working condition, with the locking mechanism functioning smoothly.

• Grip: Hold the tweezer by the handle, ensuring your fingers are comfortably positioned. The self-locking mechanism should be disengaged before starting.

• Placing the Tweezer: Position the tweezer’s tips around the material or tissue to be manipulated. These tweezers are often used for handling small objects like gauze, cotton pellets, or delicate tissue during procedures such as extractions, fillings, or crown placements.

• Locking Mechanism: Once the tips are in place, engage the self-locking mechanism by applying slight pressure. This will securely hold the object or tissue in place, reducing the need for continuous manual pressure.

• Manipulation: Carefully manipulate or move the tissue or object, using the locked tweezer for better control and stability. The locking feature provides more precision, especially in delicate areas like the oral cavity.

• Removal: Once the task is completed, gently release the locking mechanism and remove the tweezer from the surgical site. Clean and sterilize after each use.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Must clean after every use with warm water to remove blood, tissues, and mucus from the instruments.
• Ultrasonic cleaning is recommended for all the instruments specially articulated instruments such as forceps, rongeurs, etc.
• Use only standard and reputed brands of disinfectant solutions.
