Gdc Proxitip-Luxating Hybrids designed by thin, precisely angled tips and a large diameter handle, the luxating hybrids provide improved apical and interproxial access for enhanced oral adaption, aiding in the preservation of the buccal plate by serving the periodontal ligaments during atraumatic extractions. The Luxatip is ergonomically designed for comfort and control during use. The shape and size of the handle are designed to minimize the force needed. The tip is extremely fine so that you can insert it easily between bone and root with a minimum of destruction. The specially processed Stainless steel used in the blade is extremely durable and retains its strength and sharpness after sterilization Tips are more finely tapered than elevator tips. Combination of a Periotome and an elevator. The sharp tip enables more efficient cutting of the periodontal ligament, while the tapering shaft assists with controlled expansion of the bony socket. The extraction operation may be performed with the minimum amount of tissue damage.

Directions for Use

• Preparation: Ensure that your workspace is clean, well-lit, and properly set up for dental procedures.Wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and protective eyewear, to ensure safety during the procedure.
• Patient Positioning: Seat the patient comfortably in the dental chair and provide appropriate anesthesia if needed to ensure a painless extraction.
• Instrument Selection: Select the GDC Proxitip-Luxating Hybrid instrument suitable for the specific tooth or teeth requiring extraction. Ensure it is clean and sterilized.
• Extraction Technique: Use the fine, sharp tip of the instrument to access the periodontal ligament around the tooth’s root. Gently insert the tip between the bone and the root surface. Apply controlled force to cut the periodontal ligament with precise movements.As you cut the ligament, use the tapered shaft to aid in the controlled expansion of the bony socket.Apply gentle rotational movements and controlled pressure to gradually loosen the tooth from its socket.
• Monitoring Progress: Continuously monitor the tooth’s mobility and assess the level of looseness as you work. Be patient and gentle to avoid excessive force.If needed, switch to a different Proxitip-Luxating Hybrid instrument with a suitable tip shape or size for different areas of the mouth.
• Extraction Completion: Once the tooth is adequately loosened, use dental forceps or another appropriate instrument to complete the extraction by gently grasping the tooth and removing it from the socket.
