Directions for Use
Hemostats are held like needle holders and scissors with a wide-based tripod grip
- Thumb and ring finger inserted in rings (tips only)
- The index finger is placed at the box lock to improve tip control
- Middle finger rests on the ring finger
- Tip, when curved, follows the natural curve of the index finger (away from the palm)
- Grip facilitates maneuverability, manipulation of the ratchet locking mechanism, and easy finger extraction.
